THE POSITION


With your expertise in the area of E2E Supply Chain Planning, you can develop solutions at a technical and process level with SAP IBP. Your focus is on the strategic and operational implementation of our new global SAP IBP template. In this context, the connection to our existing planning-relevant solutions such as operations planning or to our global SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is also in the foreground.


Tasks & responsibilities


  • In your new role, you will work closely with colleagues in global process management, stakeholders and key users to facilitate the harmonization, simplification and automation of IT services and processes.
  • In addition, you will develop and implement the required planning solutions for Boehringer Ingelheim.
  • In this context, you manage the entire system lifecycle (design, creation, operation and decommissioning) of global IT systems and applications in a pharmaceutically regulated environment together with other IT functions.
  • Analyze and model planning processes and implement them into the system, taking into account the appropriate business requirements, best practices and SAP standard solutions.
  • In the area of supply chain planning, you support process, architecture and roadmap decisions.
  • In consultation with key business stakeholders, you identify, evaluate and prioritize requirements to ensure successful implementation of projects or system extensions.
  • In cooperation with our EOC Service Delivery Unit you will find creative and innovative solutions for the maintenance and 3rd level support of our systems.
  • You create the required documentation in accordance with GxP regulations for the validation of computer systems in a pharmaceutical environment.



Requirements


  • Completed studies in information technology, business informatics or comparable professional experience with comprehensive knowledge of the planning processes
  • Several years of IT professional experience, including a proven track record in the implementation of SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions - preferably with consulting background
  • Sound knowledge of SAP (ERP/APO) and/or other SAP-based systems is essential; SAP IBP configuration knowledge is advantageous
  • Experience in managing complex IT projects and knowledge of agile methods to develop ideas/ innovations and to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Competence in building partnerships and working with others to achieve common goals in the team
  • Excellent presentation skills combined with an independent and solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (oral and written) as well as the willingness to lead international projects, also onsite
