Tasks & responsibilities

• In your new role as Post Doc you will advance our cell line engineering and development strategies for our viral therapeutics portfolio, specifically for oncolytic viruses & AAV.
  
• You will evaluate innovative technologies with respect to their applicability & predictability for the robust and cost-efficient production of viral therapeutics.
  
• You contribute to the definition and control of critical quality attributes during the engineering and screening of cell candidates.
  
• You actively support the cross-departmental collaborations with e.g. Research, Cell Line and Process Development, Analytical Development etc..
  
• With your expertise, you ensure the delivery of high-quality data and results including written reports on time and within budget.
  
• You interact and develop projects with industrial and academic collaborators. You align with stakeholders to solve interdisciplinary challenges.
  

Requirements

• Completed PhD in the fields of molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, bioprocess engineering or comparable qualification
  
• Strong technical expertise in the fields of cell biology, cell line engineering or viral production in mammalian cells
  
• Sound knowledge in bioprocess development and in relevant analytical technologies and methods to evaluate product quantity and quality is of advantage
  
• Independent work, initiative, flexibility and reliability paired with innovative thinking and determination
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• Very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German desirable
  
• Willingness to work in S2-level laboratory
