Title: Global Medical Information Senior Manager/Associate Director

Initial 12 Month Contract + Performance based EXT

Pay Rate/day: Up to £455/day (37.5h/week)

Fully Remote Role

The Global Medical Information Senior Manager/Associate Director will have responsibility for Cell Therapy and will collaborate with team colleagues to ensure timely, accurate, thorough and balanced responses to unsolicited requests for information across all Cell Therapy products in countries within the ACE (Australia, Canada, Europe) and other assigned Global regions.

Job Description:


* The Global Medical Information Senior Manager/Associate Director will be expected to work working independently with minimal direction to manage escalations
* Manage escalations and route requests received appropriately, including working with Scientific Communications team to address any requests for medical content
* Providing written or verbal responses to medical questions referred by Medical Information/Medical Affairs colleagues in affiliate offices, or by distributor companies, within the ACE or Global region
* Responding directly to medical requests from healthcare professionals and patients in countries within the ACE or Global region that are not covered by affiliates or distributors
* Maintaining timely records of all information requests and responses within the Global Medical Information database
* Recognising, obtaining relevant data on, and accurately reporting any potential adverse events, special situation reports or product complaints to the appropriate internal departments in a timely manner
* Ensuring compliance with Medical Information working practices and operating procedures
* Managing medical information content requirements for the Cell Therapy (e.g. Medical Information Response Documents), including proactive identification of new content needed to support affiliates in responding to customer requests
* Creating new Response Documents for topics that are the subject of frequent requests within the ACE and Global region
* Coordinating appropriate staffing of Medical Information booths at major scientific congresses related to assigned therapy areas
* Generate medical information reports including insights and metrics
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD equivalent); with at least 5 years of Medical Information experience within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry preferred
* Experience in hematology/oncology and/or immuno-oncology or related therapeutic area preferred
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments (Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Translational Research, Research & Development, Legal, and Regulatory functions)
* Ability to analyze, think critically and be solution oriented to effectively operationalize all aspects of medical information department

Knowledge/Skills Required:


* 3+ years of experience in medical writing, medical information/drug information, and/or relevant clinical experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Thorough knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal requirements for the provision of medical information services in the pharmaceutical industry
* Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams
* Able to work under minimal direction
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Must have strong attention to detail, excellent project management and problem-solving skills and thinks creatively
* Must have a broad knowledge and understanding of products and diseases that allows for independent provision of complex information that is accurate and meets all regulatory requirements. Thorough grounding in clinical pharmacotherapy is essential.
