I am currently working with a market leading global CRO and have an exciting opportunity for a Statistical Programmer II to join their Real-World Evidence (RWE) Team. As a Statistical Programmer II in the Real-World Evidence team, you will provide Statistical Programming and data harmonization support & expertise, advising on database design, data collection and programme TLFs. This is an exciting new role as Real World Evidence expands into developing further innovations for clients.  

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct statistical analyses for client reports and publications.
  • Develop, implement, and validate new process technologies, macros and applications under supervision.
  • Utilise innovative insights for solution, operations, and product development.
  • Work directly with both external and internal clients.
  • Perform programming quality control checks for source data and report issues.
  • Review, detect and correct TLFs, edit checks and SAS programs to ensure quality.
  • Assist in the development of programming documentation including specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and project solutions.
  • Fulfil project responsibilities at the level of assisting the Statistical Programming Team Lead.
  • Understand timelines and milestones and alert manager to potential slippage.
  • Work independently, act as technical lead and plan from time to time when required.  

What you will need to have:

  • MSC/BSC in computer science or relevant experience in health-related field.
  • Knowledge of statistics, programming and clinical drug development process
  • Working knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS Macro Language
  • Strong knowledge of SDTM structures and ADaM standards.
  • 2 years working knowledge of TLFs in clinical trials.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements.
  • Good leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Able to independently manage multiple tasks, projects, and delegate work to other team members. Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.
