Job Details

RBW consulting are working with a partner of theirs, a US biotech who specializes in urology studies in various indications with Phase I,II and III.

Their core values is to work together in making meaningful changes to people's lives with these different urological conditions. They are rapidly growing across Europe and this being their focus to bring these life changing drugs into Europe and continue to help patients in improving their lives.

So they can continue to develop life changing drugs, they now are seeking a Global Direct of Oversight Clinical Monitoring to join their fantastic team in Switzerland. The role involves a number of responsibilities however, this a a role for someone to come in and develop it , and create processes, SOP's and KPI's for the CRO's that you'll be overseeing. This is also an opportunity for someone to make the role their own and create a grow a team in Europe. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for all monitoring aspects for all clinical trials
  • You will work closely with the Clinical Operations team, data management, QA and other vendors
  • Act as primary contact within the biotech for all aspects related to monitoring, including being involved in preparation of the study plan with vendors , development and KPI to ensure quality of operational results
  • Selecting vendors and oversight of vendors within Clinical Operations
  • Responsible for management of processes to ensure consistency, deliverables ,any monitoring issues and compliance
  • Support where needed in working closely with various teams within Clinical operations for budget management related to monitoring activities
  • If needed or when required, the Director will provide training and mentor to other Departments within Clinical Operations
  • Participate in the development of improvement of processes within Clinical Operations

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in oversight of CRO's in Clinical Monitoring 
  • Experience working in global clinical trials management and leading teams 
  • Financial knowledge within budget is essential
  • Experience and knowledge of all aspects of the clinical study process and journey within Clinical operations
  • Ability to travel 25% globally of the time , dependent on business needs
  • Ability to manage and work across different time zones

Education:

Biological or Life Sciences or Health Degree is essential - BS or MS preferred

Reporting line: 

Reporting into Director of Clinical Operations and the General Manager
