Job Details
An exciting and fast-paced drug-discovery Biotech are seeking a visionary leader from a Bioinformatics background to drive the computational team. They are looking for someone with expertise in functional genomics and big-data modelling.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Computational Biology team, providing hands-on leadership in R-coding, statistical modelling, and developing cloud-based infrastructure
- Drive target discovery
- Liaise with the directors of other platforms
- Stakeholder management
Essential experience
- Expertise in Bioinformatics, Statistics, and Machine Learning
- Proficient in using R for data analysis
- Good experience with functional genomics data
- Experience with imaging data
- Experienced in experimental design
- Proficient with AWS
- Experience leading a team
