About This Job:

As the Key Account Manager in you will champion excellence while representing Astellas’ specialty products and services.   Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, executing and continuously improving strategic account management in specialty areas of medicine 
  • Tailoring omnichannel customer solutions
  • Initiating and building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Managing hospital and state tender contracts

The individual who would excel in this role has a genuine desire to exceed the expectations of the patients, customers, and colleagues through a growth mindset and brave approach to their business.

You will be working with an experienced, collaborative, and successful team and have a desire to progress your career.

An individual committed to delivering value by developing trust-based relationships both within and outside Astellas that results in outcomes that make a difference.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Business Acumen including knowledge and use of analytical tools
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of digital resources, tools, and programs, including customer relationship management systems and external applications
  • Understanding of healthcare ecosystem including protocols, formularies, and contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts and tenders
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in specialty care
  • Haematology/ Oncology and hospital experience
  • Flexible, customer-focused, and determined attitude
  • Solution-oriented and effective problem-solving skills

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field preferred but not necessary
