Mapi Research Trust (MRT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving patients' quality of life by facilitating access to Patient-Centered Outcome (PCO) information. We promote scientific approaches in the PCO field and encourages exchanges between academics, pharmaceutical companies, and international organizations around the world in the service of incorporating the patient's voice into every step of the development process of new treatments.
As more and more clients are digitalizing the COAs, we are developing our team’s experience with electronic COA processes.
Within the Trust, the eCOA Client Services Associate (CSA II) is responsible for leading efforts to maintain and expand upon client relationships for eCOA (Clinical Outcomes Assessment) services through project planning, feasibility research, costing and proposal development, pipeline tracking and client management.
The CSA acts as the Subject Matter Expert and consults on each project to ensure best practices are implemented for each technology implemented in a study, on time delivery, and remediation of issues for multiple projects simultaneously.
The CSA works closely with other members of the project team, client, clinical/scientific teams, copyrights holders and internal and external clients and vendors for successful project execution. The CSA has a firm grasp on the process and deliverables of their functional team and actively contributes to process improvements.
Job Description
• Expertise in the areas of eCOA and other technologies
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Technical background, with understanding in software development and clinical technologies (EDC, eCOA, IWRS etc.)

Job Description
- Lead and prepare client focused proposals, budgets and client grids for new business opportunities and ensure that the all required information is provided in the final proposal within given timeframe
- Adhere to the MRT department-specific proposal process
- Chair kick-off and resource meetings and coordinate the participation of appropriate personnel in the proposal development process
- Liaise with the appropriate personnel including sales, strategic proposal development and operations throughout the proposal generation to ensure that the proposal and strategy meets the business needs in line with triage priority
- Prepare costs for proposals by interacting with operational departments to coordinate costs and assumptions
- Submit final proposal, on time, to client
- Coordinate and participate in negotiations and discussions with clients as required
- Lead single service bid defense and other client meetings as needed. Support other Client Services and BD staff in multi-service bid defenses.
- Clarify contract specifications with the Manager, CCS, Project Manager; and/or Account Manager/Executive (where applicable)
- Solicit input and review of proposals, budgets and contracts (where applicable) from the relevant operational departments
- Develop and maintain filing and tracking tools in accordance with accepted practices
- Comply with ICON administrative, training and human resources policies
- Assist with continuous departmental process improvements and participate in special projects periodically assigned, in addition to day-to-day duties
