Albion Rye Associates are proud to be partnering with an innovative global consultancy as they seek to grow their team. The role of HEOR Consultant will support the consultancy in communicating the value of innovative products using creative tools and tailored processes to a variety of leading pharma, biotech and medical device companies.

About the role:

  • Analysis and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data using Microsoft Office tools and several statistical packages
  • Identifying clinical and cost data in support of model development Health economic modelling, from conception/design to reimbursement submission and post launch (for both drugs and devices)
  • Designing and conducting systematic literature reviews and targeted reviews in medical science databases (e.g. PubMed, Embase, Cochrane)
  • Managing client relationships: building rapport, understanding their challenges, offering technical and strategic solutions
  • Business development skills such as identifying additional business opportunities
  • Communication of results and dissemination of findings to clients, collaborators, and the wider scientific community

About you:

  • A relevant MSc in Health Economics, Medical Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a life science related discipline
  • Over 3 years consultancy experience, including proven project management and client facing skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of conceptualization, development, and adaptation of economic models is fundamental to the role
    •  Experience in building de novo economic models in Microsoft Excel is preferred
    • Proven track record of building and delivering health economic models from scratch and sourcing input parameters
  • Strong analytical skills, being capable of sourcing and repurposing data from the public domain and from published scientific articles.
  • Critical thinking, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Proven writing expertise and content development for value communications (e.g., value dossiers, policy documents, manuscripts, conference abstracts, etc)
  • Technical knowledge and experience in conducting any of the following: burden of disease models, cost-effectiveness models, pricing models, systematic reviews, direct/network meta-analysis, survival/statistical analyses, budget impact models, value dossiers and HTA Ability to work independently
  • Client centric and a strong entrepreneurial mindset
