Cosmetic Sales Manager - Technical industry role

Our client is an established manufacturer and distributor, branching out into cosmetics and therefore needing a highly technical individual within cosmetics. Given the close proximity to Research and Development teams within product development of cosmetic based products, having a sound Technical sales individual within cosmetics is key Our client are boasting a flexible, entrepreneurial spirit department, where you are free to implement what you feel is best in order to encourage an innovative and open working environment.

As the national Technical Sales Manager, you will utilise your existing network to support existing customers and work to acquire new customers within the cosmetic product sphere

With the company pushing not just high end cosmetic products and working with some of the largest players in the sector, you will also get a chance to work on green based products that are at the high end scale. Here you will develop such products and utilise your sales experience to push to market.

To continue to drive the sales growth for the UK cosmetics arm of the business you will be expected to work closely with industry through continuous visits, trade show contacts, marketing

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A scientific background, ideally with a cosmetic technical background.
  • An extensive sales experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably in the personal care ingredients space, is essential to make an impact in the market.
  • You are flexible and willing to travel.
  • You have excellent listening, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills with the ability to think in terms of "solutions" not "products" to meet customer needs.
  • You are tenacious with a good sense of organization and autonomy.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Data protection, ISO standards, and safety at work.
