Medical Affairs Director, Oncology

Proclinical are recruiting a Medical Affairs Director for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis. The client is focused on developing life-changing remedies for people in various therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the oncology medical team and be responsible for both medical method and strategic plan development with organisation of actions in their respective therapeutic areas.
• Serve as a representative of the organisation as a crucial clinical expert in front of leading medical experts, professional affiliations and establishments in their therapeutic area.
• You will examine study outcomes from a clinical perspective and releasing of final study documents.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Skills & Requirements:

• Qualified physician, UK registered pharmacist or educated to an advanced degree level in a life science discipline.
• Acquaintance with medical affairs in a pharmaceutical organisation.
• Knowledge of oncology and product life cycle management.
• Familiarity within a line management role.
• Demonstrated ability to generate publications for assumed research.
• Prior involvement in designing, planning, and performing clinical research procedures.
• Interpersonal and collaboration abilities with shareholders both internally and externally.
