THE POSITION

In your role as Business Consultant, you will act as a central point of contact for internal and external business partners as well as for IT colleagues. Using innovative approaches, you will solve business challenges and act as a subject-matter expert for IT systems, technologies and system interfaces.

Tasks & responsibilities

• As the main contact person for the business area assigned to you, you act as an important interface with internal and external experts in the field
  
• You are familiar with the legal and organizational requirements applicable to your area of responsibility and ensure compliance.
  
• You act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT topics, technologies and interfaces, identifying potential for improvement.
  
• With your expertise, you definie and improve processes, always keeping an eye on state-of-the-art technologies.
  
• As a Business Consultant, you will independently manage a project of medium to high complexity and organize and monitor the project in terms of time, quality and costs.
  
• Moreover, you have expert knowledge in terms of system design, development and implementation and use this in a target-oriented manner.
  

Requirements

• At least Master’s degree in Computer Science, (Business) Information Technology or equivalent
  
• Longterm experience of SAP on its Logistics related modules, with knowledge in Customizing and configuration as well as some desired debugging ability
  
• Demonstrated project management skills based on successful completion of multiple projects
  
• Several years of experience acting as an interface with internal and external business partners
  
• SAP GTS knowledge is desired
  
• Strong communication skills including demonstrated willingness to create and maintain business relations and working with business partners, vendors, developers, legal and compliance functions
  
• Fluent language skills in English (written and spoken) a must
