Health Economist / Research Consultant – Nordic Market
Based in Sweden or other Nordic countries

 

The company I am partnered with are a global, leading consultancy dedicated towards the life sciences industry. They have specialist teams in HEOR, Real World Evidence and market access globally and are looking for a Nordic Health Economist to be a part of their growing and adapting workforce across Europe.

 

You will work within an experienced teams of researchers and health economists as part of a wider collaborative team. Your role will be dedicated to health economic activities such as modeling, and the evaluation of healthcare products. This is a really exciting opportunity to be an influential part in the growth and development of an already globally recognized organization.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Program early pricing models such as cost effectiveness, cost of illness, and disease transmission models using varying decision analytics techniques such as Markov modelling, decision trees and optimization modelling You will work alongside the project manager / senior leader gaining exposure to the entire project process and acting taking on more responsibilities in project managing Contribute to high – quality, volume and important projects within the agreed timelines and budgets laid out Prepare, write, and pitch proposals, reports, slide decks, abstracts, and other user guides to be reviewed by a senior consultant / project manager Communicate with clients and other team members on project findings and proposals Build scientific data through presentation of research findings at professional conferences

Qualifications Needed:

 

  • MSc degree in Health Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or another relevant life sciences discipline. Hands on demonstrable experience building, creating, and adapting health economic models for the Nordic market Experience with computer systems and programming in: Microsoft EXCEL, R, Matlab, simulations packages and other programming languages.

Experience conducting targets literature review searches identifying key data and evidence of topics Knowledge of HTA requirements across the Nordic Countries Excellent communication skills in English and either Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian
