Data Scientist (Pipelines and Predictive Models)

My Client, a Biotechnology company based in Massachusetts, is looking for a Data Scientist to join their R&D team. The company focuses on developing novel proteins for industrial use (pharma, agriculture etc), from natural sources. 

The role of the Data Scientist in this team is to develop and evaluate predictive models using their diverse set of data science skills (ML/DL, stats etc). You will be developing workflows, working with structured and unstructured data, querying in-house databases and more. 

Responsibilities 

• Generate meaningful insight from multi-omics data using applied statistics and ML models.
• Development of predictive models from diverse datasets for applications such as Protein/Strain Engineering and fermentation optimization. 
• Development of pipelines and dashboards to support infrastructure development 

Your Profile 

• PHD or MS (+ experience) in a relevant area. 
• Extensive experience with Python, R, SQL and workflow development 
• You have developed ML and DL models for data analysis - including translating unstructured data into serialized (JSON, xml, yml) and/or structured data
• Experience with web technologies and frameworks (e.g. HTML(5), CSS(3), PHP, JavaScript, etc.)
