Developer, Software Engineering

Location: Spain - Remote

We are looking for a creative front-end developer who is passionate about coding and enjoys a good challenge to join our digital transformation business. What's involved?

• Evaluating requirements and producing, updating, and communicating accurate estimates of development projects.
• Leading and managing project builds and releases.
• Contributing to an agile working environment and collaborating with other teams to ensure best quality on products produced.
• Taking responsibility for your area of expertise.

All about you

• Minimum of 4 years of continuous, relevant experience.
• Rock-solid understanding of the JavaScript core language, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue, Nuxt.
• Able to set up and customise JavaScript tooling and build systems.
• Experience developing clean and well-structured web applications.
• Experience with a server-side language such as NodeJS, or PHP.
• Passionate about creating easy-to-use and stunning user experiences.
• Able to propose and communicate time-framing ideas within the teams.
• Able to question the status quo and proactively develop improvements in the technical skill set as well as identifying technical and core skills training requirements.
• Fluent in English.

Other valuable skills

• Experience using typed based languages, such as TypeScript.
• WordPress programming skills given the platform standards and best practices.
• Enthusiasm for building web pages focused on accessibility.
• Data Viz experience with D3.js, and/or grammar-based libraries, like Vega.
• Develop expertise in the systems we work with, documenting and mentoring other developers working on them.
