THE POSITION


The Head Procedures & QM Solutions Vendor Management defines the Medicine strategy and standards for BI Governance and Procedure Documents and for the related Document Management and Knowledge Management system in alignment with the leadership team.


Tasks & responsibilities


  • Define, develop and implement Medicine strategy and standards for BI Governance and Procedure Documents and KM Assets in line with regulatory requirements on global and local level and the BI Document Hierarchy.
  • You identify and implement process improvements for BI Governance and Procedure Documents as well as KM Assets optimizing and harmonizing the process landscape in BI Medicine worldwide.
  • Also, you define, maintain, and improve the Medicine standards for administration and usage of the global Document Management and Knowledge Management System in alignment with BI standards.
  • You set the document management strategy regarding external partners / outsourced processes, developing standards for external access, ensuring comprehensive tracking and oversight of suppliers, and ensuring inspection readiness.
  • With your expertise you provide guidance to Global Regulation Managers (SOP Managers) regarding Medicine Governance and Procedure Documents and their implementation.
  • In the cross-divisional RMS panel you represent Medicine and ensure all Medicine relevant regulatory and business requirements are considered.
  • The recruitment, leadership, and development of an effective Procedures & Solutions Vendor Manager team within Quality Medicine is also part of your new profile.



Requirements


  • Master’s or PhD degree in natural sciences, medicine or equivalent with long-term experience in working in GxP-regulated environments (focusing on GVP, GCP), preferably with quality management background
  • Several years of leadership experience in global matrix settings, strong in team building
  • In-depth knowledge of and expertise in regulatory requirements (e.g., EMA, FDA, ICH), integrity, compliant and ethical decision-making
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with knowledge of processes in quality management, ideally with a track record in developing and maintaining document hierarchy models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for trends and digital innovations in knowledge management
  • Strong interpersonal, intercultural skills working in a diverse, global, and cross-functional setting
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English
