We were founded more than a century ago by a man committed to creating high-quality medicines that meet real needs, and today we remain true to that mission in all our work. Across the globe, Lilly employees work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.

Organisation Overview:

The UK Medical Review Team is critical to the business and is essential to the success of the UK and Irish affiliates. The UK team consists of ten (10) people who approve promotional and non-promotional materials (UK & Ireland) to communicate Lilly’s commitment to innovative medicines to healthcare professionals.

All team members are integrated into Product/Brand Teams and work closely with the Brand Managers and Medical Advisors allowing you to provide ABPI Code of Practice expertise to all therapeutic and brand related matters.

The UK team within Lilly is part of a broader Northern European Hub (NE Hub) Medical Review Team, which includes the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland).

  • Contribute to developing and improving the Promotional Materials Approval Process (PMAP).
  • Positively partner with other functions on multi-disciplinary teams to ensure all materials follow compliance from conception.
  • Demonstrate PMAP and Code experience and expertise through training, sharing best practice, meetings and advice, and coach and train team members and cross-functional colleagues in matters related to PMAP and Code.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Code, especially regarding Lilly products.

BRING YOUR TRUE SELF TO WORK

Embracing diversity is at the core of our long-held value of respect for people. It is the lens through which we understand and respond to the unique needs of the millions of individuals who depend on our medicines. For us, embracing diversity means understanding, respecting, and valuing differences, including but not limited to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status. The greatest measure of our diversity efforts is our ability to attract and retain exceptional employees who feel comfortable in a culture that supports them being themselves

Company

Lilly was founded in 1876 by Colonel Eli Lilly, a man committed to creating high-quality medicines that met real needs in an era of unreliable elixirs peddled by questionable characters. His charge to the generations of employees who have followed was this: "Take what you find here and make it better and better."

More than 140 years later, we remain committed to his vision through every aspect of our business and the people we serve starting with those who take our medicines, and extending to health care professionals, employees and the communities in which we live.
