We are partnered with a global leading pharmaceutical company, and they are looking to bring on an early pipeline expert with strong medical affairs experience and hands-on product development / launch experience.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced medical affairs professional to step up into a senior role at one of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities

 

  • Build and maintain scientific and medical expertise for early product pipeline assets
  • Provide systematic scientific/medical input to corporate pipeline asset development plans and scientific platforms
  • Identify early key medical experts and opinion leaders and build a network and relationships
  • Lead the mapping of existing regional or local patient journeys, treatment guidelines and identifies the gaps in patient diagnostic and disease management treatments
  • Engage with local Doctors or external experts, health care professionals, key patient advocacy representatives to seek input on product/ data needs for key markets
  • Work in close collaboration cross-functionally to build early relationships with key patient advocacy representatives

 

Requirements

 

  • MD/MBBS or PhD degree
  • 7+ years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in Medical Affairs, in Senior roles where you have had hands-on responsibilities regarding product launches (leading, not advisory)
  • Early pipeline expertise from a medical affairs point of view, with hands-on responsibilities in the development of products across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Profound understanding of market access and drug approval processes and complexity within CEE countries
  • Business proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
