Job Details

My client, a leading global Pharmaceutical business, are looking for a Patient Safety Physician to join their diverse, collaborative and inclusive Pharmacovigilance team.

 

You will lead & contribute to the global Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management activities for assigned therapeutic areas both within in clinical development and the marketed portfolio for diabetes. If you are a doctor with strong Pharmacovigilance experience please read below…

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop/ contribute to proactive patient focused Risk Management strategies for assigned portfolio
  • Plan, manage and monitor all PV activities for assigned portfolio including; set-up of safety within clinical trials, safety databases for monitoring, development of the product safety profile, safety issue management
  • Collaborate with various departments including clinical development teams
  • Develop safety profile assessment strategies for developmental products
  • Interpret clinical trial safety data for clinical trial reports and submission documents
  • Take responsibility for the drug safety related regulatory documents (e.g. PSURs, DSURs, RMPs, Clinical Overview Statements)

Requirements:

  • Medical doctor (MD, MBBS, MB ChB, dr. med)
  • Clinical or research experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Extensive PV experience and a strong understanding of PV regulation in major markets
  • Experience in Clinical Development (submissions for marketing authorization would be an asset)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quality and patient safety focus
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
