Study Director Mass Spectometry

I'm partnered with an exciting and growing biotech who are well known for supporting pharmaceuticals with biomarker test development using targeted proteomics. As part of their continued growth plans, they are now looking for a talented scientist skilled within mass spectrometry and LC/MS to provide their scientific expertise to support their Translational biomarkers and Bioanalysis function.

Your responsibilities: 

• Designing biomarker studies
• Developing and analysing LC-MS/MS analytical method protocols and data generated on high resolution instruments 
• Working alongside laboratory staff to ensure that the projects are being fulfilled as expected
• Support the design and implementation of the biomarker tests

Your background: 

• MSc or PhD in relevant field (biochemistry or molecular biology or analytical chemistry or mass spectometry)
• Hands on experience with LC-MS/MS platforms 
• Any biomarker experience ideal but not necessary
• Experience in working well within teams 
• Any publications in scientific journals ideal
