THE POSITION


Join our team in Ingelheim as we transform lives through our quality medicines: We are looking for a Global Head of Corp. E2E Supply Chain Quality Management. Based in our Head Quarters, you will own, design and implement the End to End-Quality strategy and assurance for Boehringer´s Supply Chains as well as the Supplier Audit universe and the external Quality Management. As a Corporate function you will report into the BI Corporate Quality Assurance department.


Tasks & responsibilities


  • In your new role you will contribute to the design and implementation of a Quality strategy for End to End (E2E) Supply Chain Management.
  • You will be responsible for establishing and performing global Quality Assurance (QA) oversight related to the design, definition and implementation of key global SCM processes in Human Pharma and Animal Health.
  • In this context, you will oversee global systems and processes for product launches and change control processes for printed packaging components in collaboration with SCM functions and external Graphic offices.
  • With your expertise, you will ensure that global SCM standards comply with cGMP/ GDP requirements for human pharmaceuticals and veterinary products from sourcing to making and product delivery.
  • You will be accountable for setting up an end-to-end directional framework and for governing Supplier- and Transport Qualification / Verification and ArtWork Management for the Business Units HP Bio Pharma (BioP), AH and Innovation Unit products supplied by Commercial sites using appropriate tools, management and reporting processes.
  • Moreover, you will be accountable for the BI Supplier Audit universe and assume the role in global QA for global Supply Chain functions in HP BioP, AH, having oversight on Quality Assurance Agreements with 3rd party logistics and service providers.
  • You will be contributing to secure Supply Chain integrity by providing essential input from Quality into Anti-Counterfeiting and Serialization systems, standards, decision-making processes and all digitalization, big data matters.



Requirements


  • Master’s degree / diploma (e.g., MBA, MSc) with major focus on pharmaceutics / chemistry / biopharmaceuticals or engineering or comparable
  • Broad experience and ability to lead cross functional and international teams, acting in leadership positions for several years
  • Several years of practical experience in a GMP regulated environment (e.g., QA, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management) paired with sound and proven knowledge in Supply Chain management and Logistics processes.
  • Open-minded personality with problem solver mentality
  • Conceptual thinking and a strategic mindset combined with a high customer and result orientation
  • Enthusiastic and innovative leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills working as a networker, influencer, and negotiator
