Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, development, and guidance to the QA team using coaching, developing, delegation and recognition to ensure they have the capability to meet performance goals
  • Responsible for release for supply of products made internally and externally to both domestic and export markets.
  • The maintenance, development and ongoing review of the site Quality Management System.
  • Maintaining knowledge of all relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Manage and Lead all inspections both internal and external as well as regulatory bodies (TGA, Halah) and respond to audit reports;
  • Manage, investigate and respond to internal and external customer quality issues in a professional manner using structured root cause analysis problem solving technique.
  • Drive the use of problem solving techniques within the site and sustaining improvement through process improvements and audits;
  • Oversee the induction of new and current employees and ensure appropriate GMP Training is provided.
  • Support the development of new products and product launches;
  • Working with key internal stakeholders and leadership to achieve positive outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 + years within GMP manufacturing based quality management
  • Full accountability for the quality department
  • Proven track record implementing quality strategies, process improvements and initiatives
  • Lead auditor qualified (desirable)
  • Strong communication, solid leadership skills, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, including external laboratories
  • Exceptional time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • High degree of initiative and personal responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel
