Labcorp Drug Development is seeking graduates (preferably life science, mathematics, computing related) with a passion for programming to work as entry level Statistical Programmers within our Global Functional Service Provider Team (FSPx) working 100% dedicated to one Sponsor (a top 20 pharma). SAS experience is a bonus but not a requirement (if you have other programming experience) as you will receive on the job training. For high performers, there will be opportunities to progress within the organisation.

The FSPx department is a well-established global team within Labcorp Drug Development, employees are based across APAC, EMEA and the Americas. The role comes with a very competitive salary and benefits package. Labcorp Drug Development utilises a hybrid approach to working, combining office and homebased working to best fit the needs of the individual and the company, we will consider candidates based at the following locations:

  • Barcelona, Spain
  • Leiden, the Netherlands

Job Primary Functions
  • Assist in the programming and validation of tables, listings, and derived variables based on instructions received from other members of the department
  • Use and maintain existing SAS code
  • Communicate accurate and timely status updates to line manager and other associates
  • Conduct all activities according to the defined project-specific quality and performance standards as well as relevant SOPs, ICH/GCP, and local requirements
  • Actively contribute to the success of relevant project activities and administrative/departmental initiatives

Job Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or higher in Biostatistics, Computer Science, or related field

Knowledge of one or more statistical software packages (SAS® preferred) used to conduct statistical analyses

Good verbal and written communication

Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute in a team setting

Fluent in English language (both verbal and written)

At the time of starting their employment the successful candidate must have permission to work in the relevant country
