VP, Quality Assurance

I am working with a Medical Device / Therapeutic company who is working on groundbreaking cancer treatments, using an implantable device to deliver a targeted therapy directly to solid tumors. This could revolutionize treatments for those which before would be going under palliative care instead of a potentially lifesaving therapy.

The successful candidate will need to have knowledge and experience in the Quality aspects of both Medical Devices, implantable a bonus, pharmaceuticals as it will be a combination treatment and also be able to take charge and be responsible for the vision, strategy and results of the Quality department.

The ideal candidate must have:

• 15+ years Quality Assurance industry experience across both therapeutics and devices.
• In depth knowledge of US FDA and global regulations
• Leadership, Management and Communication skills
• Be confident in making decisions, supervising of QA employees and making sure all are working to support the needs of the business and abiding by its policies
• Experience in building and maintaining QMS Systems
• Experience in being responsible for compliance, management and improvement in areas such as: Document Control, SOPs, Final Product Release, Risk Management and more
