Job Details
Proclinical is in search for a Senior EHS Advisor for a leading pharmaceutical company located in Wrexham. The Senior EHS Adviser will report directly into the EHS and Facilites Director and will be the point of contact for the site on a daily basis and deputise for the EHS and Facilities Director as required. Offering advice and guidance upon EHS related matters. Ensuring compliance with local legislation, but also with Corporate policy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the EHS and Facilities Director as required in a leadership role to both internal and external customers and stakeholders, including site and corporate managers and regulators
- Provide high level advisery service to the business and stakeholders
- Be a go-to person
- Modelling good EHS behaviours
- Experience with culture change programs
- Believe, engage and promote our 3S Safety Program
- Participate and lead the EHS inspection program onsite
- Ensure that the CAPA system is maintained
- Support the business with ongoing maintenance and improvement to ensure compliance with IPPC, CCL compliance systems and the site environmental management system (EMS)
- Lead and own job specific EHS training
- Assist with the role out of our new EHS MS
- Coach and support our employees and contractors working upon site
- To perform assigned tasks whilst adhering to current GMP requirements at all times.
- Report any compliance concerns to your line-manager or Quality Assurance Compliance.
- To work in a safe manner at all times, and raise any Health and Safety concerns to your line-manager or the EHS team.
- Do not perform any tasks you are not trained to complete.
- Ensure all training is kept up to date and documented by adhering to training plan requirements
Skills and Requirements:
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
- GradOSH, TechOSH
- A degree at bachelors or masters level in Environmental Risk Management or Health & Safety
- A Chartered Member of IOSH
- Minimum of 3 years in a relevant EHS field (Manufacturing/Chemical/Pharmaceutical) other industries will be considered
- Fluent in English
