Our client is a highly regarded international company and global market leader that specialise in Ophthalmology and have ambitious growth plans for the next few years. As result of a change in strategy, the company are now looking to appoint a talented Head of Marketing to develop, shape, execute and drive/communicate marketing activities across UK.

You will play a key role in developing effective marketing activities for the UK, and also work with Global marketing counterparts & commercial UK leadership team stakeholders to deliver the results required.

This is a national role so you will need to bring a collaborative working style, strong commercial marketing experience and have an ability to work with and across the broader NHS.

The expectation of the role is that it will be 60% home based and 30% field based, where you will be building relationships with key stakeholders as well as translating the key clinical messages into effective marketing programmes which add significant value to the NHS and wider UK business.

The successful individual will have a strong track record of success & relevant marketing experience in a related field (ideally surgical ophthalmology) although a strong, technically minded, marketer within strategic marketing experience will also be considered.
