Freelance Senior Statistical Programmer - France - Home-based/ Remote

Josh Zarembski is searching for a Freelance Senior Statistical Programmer to work for an Award Winning CRO (Contract Research Organisation), outsourced through an FSP, for a minimum of 12 months on 1.0 FTE.

This CRO pride themselves on their enjoyable working environment. You will have the opportunity to work in-depth on several studies for niche Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical clients. As a company, they are determined to improve patient health, help provide industry-leading statistical, programming, and clinical pharmacology contributions through global delivery, consistent quality adherence, and scientific insight.

Primary areas:

  • CDISC SDTM mapping and programming. Creation of SDTM mapping specs, SDTM defines and reviewer’s guides
  • The senior role will include project leadership activities

Additional areas:

  • Development of analysis dataset specifications
  • Development, maintenance, and validation of SAS® programs for the production of analysis datasets and tables, figures and listings for inclusion in clinical study reports
  • Creation and review of shells for tables, figures and listings from a programming perspective
  • Development, maintenance, and validation of SAS based utilities
  • Data capture design review and input into data standards

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics or related discipline
  • Previous experience as a Statistical Programmer within the pharmaceutical industry or within a Clinical Research Organisation
  • 6+ Years of Significant SAS programming experience
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Clinical Development process and its critical paths.

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Master’s Degree Qualified in Statistics or overseas equivalent
  • Experience of Statistical Programming across Phase I/II/III Clinical Trials
  • Awareness of the Global regulatory environment.
  • Experience of a wide breadth of therapeutic areas.
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards
  • Experience in define-XML production and FDA documentation requirement
