Strategic Research Director
Based in London
I am partnered with a reputable boutique strategic research firm who have strong plans for their business over the coming 2 - 3 years. Their most recent focus is on building out the senior leadership team to a high standard so the business can reach their growth targets of 40 % by the end of 2024. They are seeking a research director with strong acumen and hands on knowledge of life science focussed qual and quant research to work alongside the MD's and be a pivotal part of their growth and development. They have been extremely successful since their establishment, with a 50 % conversion rate on RFP pitches and an already established network of top pharmaceutical companies that they regularly work with on a global scale.
- You will be responsible for running 2 - 3 projects at any one time, opposed to 5 - 7 in other companies. Their aim is to increase the quality of work and deliver exactly what the client is looking for opposed to taking on too much and not completing to a high standard Work on creating relationships with new and current clients with a key focus on repeat business and high return Report directly to the managing directors of the business having a key insight into how the business grows and develops over the coming years and acting as one of the foundational senior leaders. Work on a global scale with Europe being a top priority Hands on with projects, taking part in selling services and doing the hands-on aspects of market research Responsible for a team of people in market research - you will be building out the team, hiring and training individuals that you think would add value to the team.
Main Aim for 2022 - 2024
- Grow client base with top Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies globally - Creating and maintaining solid relationships Increase their head count by 40% Increase their revenue turn over year on year
- 7 + years of market research experience in a pharmaceutical setting Solid understanding and knowledge of the health care system and various therapeutic areas like; Oncology, rare diseases, neurology etc. Line Management Experience; MUST have successful experience building, managing and training a team of people at varying levels Business Development; MUST be able to create, maintain and develop relationships with current and prospective clients at all levels contributing to the companies target growth of £1 million per year Knowledge and understanding of qualitative and quantitative works streams / methodologies to implement key strategies within the junior consultant team Motivated, adaptable and eager to be a major part in the company’s success stories.
