Quality Auditor/Trainer

On behalf of my client, a global clinical organisation, we are actively accepting CVs for the role of Quality Auditor/Trainer.   This is a contract position and fully flexible hybrid role.

The successful candidate for this role will support the Director of Quality in management of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, staff training, conducting internal quality audits, vendor management, and maintaining supporting documentation/records. An eye for detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team are essential.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

The Quality Auditor / Trainer will carry out the following functions:

  • Ensure that new hires are trained on relevant SOPs / induction training required in line with existing training matrices within agreed deadlines
  • Ensure all employees complete required training within agreed deadlines
  • Ensure internal audits are conducted and documented in line with preapproved internal audit schedule
  • Assist Director of Quality to ensure that findings/CAPAs from internal audits are followed up within agreed timeframes as per SOP
  • Support Director of Quality during onsite client audits, in particular relating to providing supporting documentation for staff training records and/or internal audit reports
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly quality reports for senior management / board, reporting on target versus actual quality metrics against quality objectives
  • Maintain other documentation associated with the QMS, vendor qualification documentation/audit reports, and approved vendor list
  • Assist Director of Quality in ensuring that schedules are met for periodic reviews required by the QMS, e.g., bi-annual disaster recovery simulations, annual quality reviews, etc.
  • Ensure third-party vendor quality certifications (such as ISO certs) are kept up-to-date and on file for presentation during client audits
  • Support the Director of Quality in addressing client audit findings satisfactorily by agreed deadlines, which may include writing new SOPs/updating existing SOPs and ensuring required staff are trained on them
  • Some travel to the Dublin office to conduct internal audits may be required
  • Likewise, you may on rare occasions be required to travel to audit company vendors

 

 

Education

 

  • Third level degree

 

Experience

 

  • Must have a minimum of a BSc Degree in Quality Management or related field
  • Must have education / previous experience in the field of Quality Management, Quality Auditing, Vendor Management, Training Management, or other related discipline
  • Previous experience of SOP management, training, and/or quality auditing in ISO 9001 environments, preferably in a software company
  • Previous experience of managing a QMS or conducting quality audits in a regulated industry would also be beneficial
