The role of the Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) will be a key internal expert for the South UK regions, providing field-based scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals to maintain a high level of medical, scientific and technical knowledge and expertise in relation to Dermatology & Aesthetics.
The MSL develops and maintains professional relationships with internal and external customers both physicians and extenders to provide comprehensive medical & scientific and education support to initiatives in assigned areas of interest.
The MSL will focus on providing healthcare practitioners, clinical investigators, professional organizations and patients organizations, the opportunity for scientific exchange and gathering insights in order to provide medical, scientific and education support for prioritized services and products within their portfolio.
Candidate requirements:
- Medical, Pharmacy or higher degree qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field
- Prior experience or a keen demonstrable interest within the field of Dermatology/Aesthetics
- Previous MSL/Medical Affairs experience, or related professional experience within Medical Affairs/Medical Devices/Prescription fields
- Prior experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels, including to practicing clinical peers and seniors
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to function in a team-oriented (matrix) environment
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment, with the ability to adapt and think quickly on your feet
- Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with medical professionals
