Merger & Acquisition Analyst

Hobson Prior are looking for a Merger & Acquisition Analyst to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis located in London. Our client is focused on supplying rescue remedies used for emergencies and ICUs to treat patients who have limited solution options.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be responsible for advising and cooperating with the C-level, management team and crucial shareholders on tactics and M&A projects.
• Guide the involvement in due diligence workstreams with assistance from M&A associates.
• You will gather and display crucial DD discoveries and ad hoc documenting to senior management and shareholders on an internal basis.
• Interact with screening and sourcing of potential M&A prospects.
• Assume ownership of operational and valuation modelling for crucial M&A objectives.
• Communicate with advisers on an external basis and support their analysis.
• Willing to travel for business needs.
• Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

• Capable of working swiftly and effectively under pressure across various projects with the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• An organised individual able to think analytically with a high attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a finance, business, healthcare or medical field, ideally with at least 1-2 years of experience within a healthcare-linked consulting, or biotech/pharmaceutical organisation.
• Familiarity with clinical trials data analysis, trial design and analysis of medical journals.
• Fluency in the English language with knowledge in another European language.
• Keen about healthcare and assisting patient's lives.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel as well as highly numerate.
