Animal Model Transfer Process Support

Hobson Prior are looking for an Animal Model Transfer Process Support to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on offering novel remedies to people suffering from various illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will uphold a clear overview of all animal transfers and progression, to recognise possible blockages and prospects for synergy/process improvement.
• To comprehend requests and needs for new rodent lines, you will mediate with internal scientists/project teams.
• Link with external parties such as academics / mouse repositories to instigate the MTA procedure.
• You will expect and be reactive to any aberrations in project progression and be solution focused so deadlines and budgets can be upheld.
• To guarantee the chosen generation tactic and QC are aligned with expectations, the ideal candidate will guarantee delivery of project to approved deadlines and link with scientific consultants for new model production.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a life science or similar discipline.
• Past involvement in vivo science such as rodent colony management, in vivo management, in vivo lab work, etc., preferably within the central nervous system area.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in the English language.
• At least 3 years of experience within a project management role.
• At least 3 years of experience in assisting cross-functional teams within a scientific organisation.
• Capable of planning with a high attention to detail.
