Job Details
I'm working with an exceptional company in the Cambridge area (UK) that is transforming the knowledge of biology by developing innovative therapies for wide range of diseases based on live bacteria and is growing vastly in the cancer space. They are looking for a senior scientist – CMC Process Development to join their current team of 8, and help pioneer their CMC processes. The role reports directly into the director of CMC, and a dotted line to the VP – Pre-Clinical giving the successful candidate a truly unique opportunity to have direct access to their truly exceptional leadership team.
Job Responsibilities;
- Play a key role in driving strategy within the process development team
- Work with other members of the team, to establish the company’s lyophilisation capabilities, including processes and analytics
- Support the company’s interactions with sub-contracted GMP manufacturing organisations, assisting with process transfer and ongoing manufacturing technical support
Requirements;
- Ph.D in Microbiology or bioprocessing engineering or closely related subjects
- Experience in bioprocessing development environment
- Biochemistry experience
