Medical Market Access Writer

 

Barrington James are the long-time staffing partner of a boutique Market Access consultancy that are highly regarded by US pharma.

 

Boasting a pipeline of prestigious projects in a variety of areas, they have approached us to source Medical Writers who specialize in writing Market Access materials; including AMCP / Value Dossiers, slide decks, value messaging etc.

 

Our client is offering you the chance to research and write content for client deliverables, on an entirely remote, and flexible part time basis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop Global Value Dossiers (GVD's) from start to finish
  • Perform Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR)
  • Prepare Manuscripts, conference posters/presentations)
  • Collaborate with members of a cross-functional evidence, value, access and pricing (EVAP) team to identify and communicate value messages across a range of formats to the client
  • Ensure that appropriate documented quality control checks are performed on medical writing deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidance

 

Education/Experience:

 

  • At minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in medical-related field or life science. Post-graduate degree (MPH or PhD) preferred.
  • +1 years of relevant medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially writing in one or more of the oncology or rare diseases therapeutic areas
  • An understanding of the drug development process,
  • Understanding of Health Economic & Outcomes Research methodologies and study design, including ability to transfer study results into peer-reviewed publications (abstracts/posters, manuscripts, and presentation materials)
  • Experience conducting literature reviews and synthesis
  • Broad experience conducting the medical writing responsibilities associated with multiple studies at various stages
  • Knowledge of Writing standards including ICMJE and clinical research concepts, practices alongside FDA regulations and ICH guidelines regarding drug development phases
  • Read, write and speak fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal, active listening and influencing skills.
