Senior Clinical Project Manager
Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 DOE plus 401k and bonus
Location: Tri State area

Albion Rye Associates have established a new and exclusive partnership with a global, innovative biotech in the Tristate area who are focused on the oncology space. We are searching for an experienced Clinical Project Manager who is looking for the next stage in their career to oversee both national and international clinical projects with a focus on Oncology studies as a Senior CPM.

 

As a firm they are currently working on an innovative product that they are need an experienced head to come in and provide management and leadership to plan, prepare and execute complex and high-profile projects. The Senior Clinical Project Manager (SCPM) is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of one or more global/pivotal clinical trials, oversight of vendors, clinical monitors, and clinical trial sites.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manages all operational aspects of one or more global/pivotal studies from start-up to close-out; proactively identifies and resolves operational issues to assure adherence to timelines, budget and milestones while ensuring compliance to applicable SOPs, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Leads the planning and communication with cross functional teams within clinical development to ensure proper execution of clinical trials.
  • Manages and provides day-to-day oversight of full service CRO and third-party vendors including set-up, logistics, documentation, and clinical supplies needed for clinical trial
  • Coordinates with CRO in clinical site oversight, data entry timeliness and assists with resolving site issues.
  • Oversees and contributes to the development of clinical documentation including study protocols, Informed Consent, Study Reference Binder, Study Management Plan, Monitoring plan, Pharmacy manual, Lab manual etc.
  • Responsible for the trial level clinical operations budget, invoices, and change orders. Contributes to developing and managing SOWs, site budgets, investigator payments, CTAs
  • Training and development of junior members of the team

Experience

  • A minimum of a BA or BS within a Scientific discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years working within a Clinical trial environment, including experience as a Clinical project manager, managing projects across different phases and geographical areas
  • Previous experience in managing or monitoring CROs and investigative sites
  • Expert knowledge of managing clinical study budgets, and site budgets
  • Working understanding of the drug development process including but not limited to ICH guidelines/GCP
  • Advanced knowledge of all steps within the clinical trial process
