The Role

There is an opportunity for a talented Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer to become part of the E&I team at Broadmeadows. If successful you will manage a small team of E&I Technicians in delivering safe, timely, high quality and compliant maintenance to the broad range of customers at the Broadmeadows site. The Broadmeadows site is an expanding, supportive and challenging environment working for a world leading manufacturer of life saving medicines.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment for manufacturing plants in a safe and compliant manner
• Providing technical advice and dealing with escalations including assisting with fault finding and detailed problems solving
• Assisting with daily work allocation, reactive and proactive
• Leading and mentoring a small group of Technicians
• Forming close relationships with multiple groups on site including customers and various support functions

The ideal candidate will have:

• Seasoned people manager with a proactive approach to form relationships with Technicians and various stakeholders
• Enjoys a challenge and wants to drive continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment
• Experience in an operational environment (Pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG, oil & gas or similar environments)
• Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical)
