Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Senior Manager of Medical Writing for a pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on generating a future where illness is left in the past.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will be accountable for championing RegMW best practices on allocated programs.
  • Anticipated to guide compound/proposal/indication/DAS writing teams while under minimal supervision.
  • Lead or train cross-functional team members on procedures, best practices, as well as guide more junior personnel.
  • The ideal candidate will guide others in a team and matrix setting.
  • Implement and provide input to standards, regulatory, and publishing regulations all on an internal basis.
  • Be proficient in the use of and partake in the development of systems, tools and procedures internally.
  • You will be anticipated to plan multifaceted papers within and across various therapeutic areas (TAs).
  • Actively offer suggestions for divisional process developments and improvements.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a pertinent discipline with at least 10 years of experience within a pharmaceutical/scientific setting.
  • At least 8 years of experience in medical writing.
  • At least 0-2 years of familiarity with people management if serving as a people manager.
  • Prior involvement in a project management and process improvement role.
  • Acquired people management capabilities with assistance from the manager if suitable.
  • Know-how and application of regulatory direction papers such as ICH needs.
