Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently seeking an Operations Improvement Lead to join a brilliant biotech corporation on a permanent basis located in London. Our client is focused on generating solutions that may possibly cure people who are suffering from serious illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this position, you will be responsible for producing and handling performance supervising, trending, and development of all operational systems.
  • Guide and evolve a high performing operational development team such as 3-5 FTEs.
  • You will handle project management and distribution of corrective & preventative actions (CAPA) as well as developments to procedures, process and ways of working.
  • To develop quality and safety performance, you will assist, train and inspire operational (cross-functional) personnel and their teams.
  • Author, evaluate and sanction documents for production and validation actions in the manufacturing field.
  • Guarantee that personal training and that of the team is assumed before duties are completed in a GMP compliant and timely fashion.
  • Execute crucial operational systems.
  • Manage quality performance of operations which involves compliance.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical / GMP product manufacturing.
  • Guidance acquaintance within a GMP product manufacturing setting.
  • Prior involvement in change management within a regulated organisation / instigating methodical change initiatives.
  • Comprehension of interrelationships between actions and systems with the ability to optimise the best practices to deliver the best general outcomes.
