The Role:

Responsibilities

Manage activities associated with the technical aspects of project execution with a focus on managing the software development lifecycle.

Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centre around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
  • As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
  • Serve as primary technical contact on projects for ICON customers.
  • Manage and lead the complete project delivery software development lifecycle.
  • Manage tasks of those performing software development lifecycle tasks.
  • Review, approve, and maintain project system documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal project team members or Clinical Operations for project delivery.
  • Ensure that projects are conducted in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate regulations and to liaise with other department and project managers as necessary to achieve this.
  • Liaise with clients on project related matters as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of project information as appropriate.
  • Ensure projects are built and released in accordance with client expectations.
  • Manage and lead the project system change control process.
  • Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.
