Job Details

Hobson prior are seeking for a Analytical Development Analyst to join a fantastic biotech establishment on a permanent basis located in Oxford. Our client is focused on improving patients results who suffer from cancer.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will offer support for conducting analytical strategy development and product characterisation projects.
  • When needed, you will write, update and adhere to equipment and tactic SOPs.
  • Conduct PCR, ELISA and cell-based analytical tests to assist in Process Development (PD) testing.
  • You will supervise and conduct periodic preservation, calibration and authentication of laboratory experiment on an internal basis.
  • Complete overall laboratory housekeeping duties, which involves sustaining stock levels of laboratory consumables.
  • Work rendering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and organisation processes.
  • Plan laboratory chemical reagents and biological assay standards and controls for use in regular testing and development projects.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time efficiently and be organised.
  • Capable of working self-sufficiently and in a team environment.
  • Communication skills both verbally and written with the capacity to adapt to situations to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a biological science or A-Level correspondent with work experience in a laboratory.
  • Interested in biological science and/or experience operating in a GMP laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with any of cell culture, ELISA, PCR, chromatography would be advantageous for the role.
  • Computer literacy in in Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
