Field Application Specialist

Proclinical are recruiting a Field Application Specialist EMEA for a biotech corporation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Germany. The client is focused on offering their services in being the best solutions partner to their clients who are biomedical researchers.

Responsibilities:

• Handle proof-of-principle experiments for possible clients assessing or scribing grant applications for purchase of the product.
• Convey project status, problems to management, users and personnel.
• Offer constructive personal and client feedback to the R&D team.
• You will produce and sustain assistance information in the organisation enterprise database.
• Support the production and evaluation of technical resources such as manuals, application notes, presentations, etc.
• Offer phone-, email-, and in-person client applications assistance, which involves troubleshooting matters linked to user technical ability, instrument operation, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Produce on-site and in-house client training courses.
• Perform new product reviews/testing with R&D and beta test sites.
• Offer technical sales assistance by performing applications-based seminars and product exhibitions. demonstrations.
• Accountable for at least 15 accounts.

Skills & Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree in a life science discipline with an immunology background.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a biochemistry or cell biology lab role.
• Familiarity with field applications, and analysis of flow assistance.
• Experience with immunohistochemistry / Immunofluorescence selling to pharma, biotech corporations.
• Prior involvement with Flow Cytometry and Mass Spectrometry would be advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience with applications.
• Proficient in troubleshooting software, instrumentation, applications, and analysis of flow cytometry and/or mass cytometry platforms.
• Bioinformatics capabilities.
• Computer literacy in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
• Willing to travel for business needs up to 60% of the time.
• An organised individual with technical writing skills.
• Social and communication abilities both verbally and written with acquaintance in displaying scientific presentations.
• Client service oriented.
• Able to think independently with the capacity to resolve issues.
• Able to work well in a team environment in and out of own field of knowledge.
