Full time permanent position based in Hatfield, Herts

Our client is a multi-cultural, healthcare, global company and seeking an ITSM and ServiceNow technical professional to support and deliver the Service Now toolset up to developer level ensuring the capabilities are shared and understood among all internal business stakeholders and demands are delivered and supported in an efficient way according to SLA's. Acting with consultative approach on Service Now toolset and ITSM best practices.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop into a Lead role and be the subject matter expert for ServiceNow.

Your experience will include:

Main duties/responsibilities:

* Work with internal Teams on improving the ServiceNow toolset used for improving the delivery of IT Services based on Best Practice frameworks
* Central point of call for all things Service Now
* Ensuring that incidents relating to Service Now are resolved according to Defined SLA's
* Demonstrating, guiding and coaching on Service Now functionality for current configurations and identifying areas of improvement
* Managing the demand from the business and translating into technical solutions that add value to the business.
* Promotion of the ServiceNow toolset and best practices for Enterprise/ IT Service Management functions within the business.
* Promote and share understanding of industry trends and use of ServiceNow
* Proactive operational management of ServiceNow including upgrades of the system
* Identify training requirements and delivering training to internal teams on tool and processes.
* Working with internal team on building reports for management of key metrics
* Collaborate with global teams on ITSM toolsets and practices
* Any other ITSM, Service Now requirements as requested by Senior Management.

Experience required:

  • Good knowledge of a broad range of IT technology platforms, products, services.
  • +5 years working in IT ideally Service Desk
  • +2 years experience working with ServiceNow toolset at developer level
  • Experience of implementing and supporting ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM as minimum with additional module experience a bonus e.g. ITBM, CSM, HR
  • Experience of ITSM best practice frameworks and implementation of these, ideally from an IT support/ ServiceDesk background
  • Experience in upgrades to the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience of working with external service providers.
  • Business/customer facing experience
  • Experience of project Management methodologies and practices,
