Principal Investigator / Associate Director, Biotherapeutic Antibody Discovery

Recruiting on behalf of a large pharma client. The company's goal is to develop novel treatments for previously unmet medical needs. This work largely spans across Immuno-oncology and Autoimmune disease.

The Biotherapeutic department is looking for a Principal Investigator / Associate Director to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery projects for Antibody Discovery, 
• Deliver lead antibody candidates, with high quality therapeutic and manufacturability properties
• Design, implement, and interpret studies to identify and pursue clinical candidates
• Ensure characterization and liability assessment for clinical candidates
• Develop interdisciplinary collaborations to contribute to overall project team strategy
• Evaluate and support implementation of new technologies
• Working towards project deadlines

Minimum Requirements

• PHD (Immunology, Molecular biology, biochemistry etc) + 4-6 years Post Doctoral experience.
  Candidates with industry experience is preferred. 
• Hands-on-experience with immunizations, B cell sorting, and VH/VL sequencing 
• Experience with NGS, single B cell cloning, hybridoma fusions, and/or immune display library generation and selection is preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of biotherapeutic drug discovery and target product profile development
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills are essential 
• Flexible and enthusiastic
