Financial Analyst II

Proclinical are actively recruiting for a Financial Analyst with a pharmaceutical company. This role is on a contract basis and is located in North Chicago. The client is focused on finding remedies for illnesses by taking on difficult health challenges.

Responsibilities:

• You will conduct balance sheet account settlements after the month end close.
• Support the projects linked to system relocation from SAP ECC to S4.
• To accomplish outcomes, conduct bank clearing and intercompany settlements day-to-day with large volumes of transactions, collaborate with the treasury, company finance and multiple cross functional shareholders.
• Plan journal entries monthly for month end close actions.

Skills & Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in an accounting/finance or similar discipline with at least 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Computer literacy, such as with Excel and SAP.
• Able to think analytically and resolve issues.
• Capable of working on various tasks simultaneously while under pressure to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
• An organised individual with a high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation.
• Prior involvement in intercompany settlement.
• Knowledge in CPA or MBA would be beneficial but is not necessary for the role.
• Presentation and communication abilities both verbally and written with the capacity to commune with various levels of the company.
