As a statistician in biologics development, you combine strong statistical and mathematical skills with a competent biopharmaceutical background. In a very creative way, you will independently drive data-driven innovation in biologics development, embedded in an agile statistician team.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you will provide statistical planning and analysis for all types of biological data within biopharmaceutical development in the areas of bioprocess development, pharmaceutical and analytical development.
  • You will use statistical methods to ensure higher quality, efficiency, and improved compliance.
  • The data visualization, data preparation and data analysis will also belong to your daily tasks and end up in statistical reports and statistical guidelines.
  • Thanks to your broad expertise, you will act as an internal consultant for all statistical issues of process and analysis development and represent statistics in local and global interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Together with process and analysis experts, you will provide statistical solutions for biological root cause analysis.
  • Moreover, you will act as an internal consultant for all statistical issues of process and analysis development and represent statistics in interdisciplinary project teams.
  • You will be responsible for the conception, planning, coordination, and follow-up of prediction projects based on machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, and data management.


Requirements

  • Master´s degree or Diploma in (Bio-) Statistics, Bioinformatics, Biometrics or Mathematics with several years professional experience. Alternatively, bachelor´s degree with long-term professional experience
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry and health authority are an advantage
  • Very good programming skills in GNU-R, SAS, Matlab or Python
  • Good knowledge of data analysis tools like Spotfire, tableau, JMP or SQL
  • Knowledge in the analysis of high-dimensional data is an advantage
