The role of primary care Business Development Manager reports to the UK Managing Director.

The main duties are:

• Network effectively at primary care and ICN/CCG level to influence HCPs to refer patients
• Educate all stakeholders about the legality of medical cannabis in the UK and how patients can access it
• Drive individual practices and networks towards referral pathways
• Develop networks of advocates for medical cannabis referral to demonstrate scalability
• Create an educational toolkit for HCPs to help educate both HCPs and patients
• Securing partnerships for referrals

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of primary care networks across the UK
• Demonstrable network of key stakeholder relationships
• Ideally medical cannabis industry knowledge
• Previous experience as business development from with in the UK pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• Exceptional communicator who can demonstrably build relationships
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who can deliver with limited supervision
• Commercially astute, but with a calm and nuanced style
