Study Start Up Manager in a centre of excellence in oncology

Would you like to be a Study Start Up Manager working remotely anywhere in Europe in a centre of excellence in oncology?

The SSUM coordinates and controls predefined study start-up activities within the Study Start-up department of Clinical Trial Operations, and is responsible for their delivery within budget, time and quality.

Responsibilities

The SSUM works in close collaboration with the Project Manager, and acts as the main line of communication for start-up activities between the sponsor, study team and various other departments.

Responsible for delivery of Study Start-up activities within budget and time and with good quality, including:

  • Clinical Trial Applications
  • Identification and evaluation of sites and investigators (including PSVs)
  • Site activation
  • Essential documents collection
  • Ensure study set-up in compliance with protocol, ICH-GCP and applicable local regulatory requirements
  • Main line of communication with potential clients, sponsors and internal study team members
  • Contribute to the expansion of regulatory and start-up intelligence

Qualifications

  • Life science, healthcare and/or business degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in study start-up
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in drug development and/or clinical research
  • Global Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP, privacy legislation (GDPR and/or HIPPA), regulations (CTR/CTD and/or CFR), and applicable local regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
  • Process oriented
  • Ability to translate guidelines, rules and regulations in clear and usable recommendations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment of a growing company
