Manager - Sequencing

Responsibilities:

• Lead in establishment of lab facility capable of processing a large number of human genomes per year
• Ensure processes and chemistries are effectively deployed
• Work closely with various internal and external functions
• Manage and oversee receipt, storage, extraction, prep and sequencing of samples
• Maintain all equipment and records
• Support quality functions in the preparation of documentation
• Support more junior members of the lab including education on best practice and lab safety

Your Background:

• PhD in a relevant subject (biology/chemistry/etc)
• Ideally 3+ years post doc experience (industry experience beneficial but not a must)
• Strong experience handling and manipulating DNA/RNA
• Strong experience within NGS
