  • Role: Supply Chain Manager
  • Client: Biopharma [Research & Development]
  • Location: Remote – several days per month in the office (West London)
  • Contract Length: 12-month contract inside IR35, with very competitive rates of pay!!!

What you will do…

Our client is a respected, international bio pharmaceutical organisation.

Their work is predominantly focused on drug discovery and the development of ground-breaking medicines.

This 12-month contract is for a Supply Chain Manager who has the ability to be highly responsive to the needs of a rapidly changing environment…

What you’re accountable for…

  • Supports GPS logistics activities described as follows: Under supervision, performs order/entry and other activities associated with documenting and processing of the orders.
  • Handles general customer service inquiries and routes questions to appropriate resources
  • Handles product, complaints, returns and follow-up professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoots and implements immediate corrective actions and preventative actions for shipments, couriers, and orders.
  • Shipment by shipment management of couriers Runs basic ERP reports.
  • Adherence to SOPs and cGMP regulations, The ability to accurately complete documentation associated with Commercial orders.
  • Maintains records and generates reports through customer service database.
  • Troubleshoots and implements immediate corrective actions and preventative actions for shipments, couriers, and orders.
  • Basic review and updates to SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Proactively communicates with the commercial team, vendors, and manufacturing to schedule and coordinate the GPS Trade Ops Activities. Support the activities for the regional Tender processes.

What you will need to have…

 

  • Administrative skills specializing in order management and logistics Develops solutions to a variety of routine as well as moderately complex problems.
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills. Able to spend majority of time working independently with little guidance using well-defined procedures.
  • Experience in writing SOPs Ability to manage processes and teams
  • Ability to author documents
  • Ability to partner with other functions
