Clinical Services Lead

We have a great opportunity for a Clinical Services Lead to provide clinical patient recruitment and retention strategic leadership within the unit to members of the team. Act as an advisory specialist and clinical expert for GCP and clinical study protocol to inform decision making and strategies. To work in partnership with the Specialist Services Lead to ensure comprehensive delivery of services within the unit.

Key Responsibilities

To effectively manage and advise on Patient Recruitment & Retention programmes for defined projects, including:

• Acting as main client liaison

• Management of projects including finances

• Project oversight of study performance for projects within the team, including other team members’ studies.

• Internal team management including Line management of PRM and below

• To be responsible for the resource management within the clinical studies team of the business unit.

• Active role in business development activities

Detailed Responsibilities

Client Contact and Project Management

• To lead and oversee quality assurance within the clinical services team and advise and liaise with the Specialist Services Lead on wider business unit quality performance.

• Lead internal team to ensure delivery of projects on time, in full, within budget and evidencing impact and quality. .

• Oversee the completion of all start-up and project management documentation.

• Liaise with the Specialist Services Lead to ensure effective delivery of Third Party Vendors.

• Define timelines with the client and ensure adherence to the timelines.

Key Skills/Attributes/Education

Desirable:

• Degree or higher in a biological science, or demonstrating knowledge/experience in materials development for patient recruitment, clinical research or health communications.

• Understanding of GCP and its application.

• Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and oral

• Ability to multitask, managing a variety of projects simultaneously, and experience working with numerous stakeholders on multi regional projects

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs; Excel, Word and PowerPoint
